After hauling our sleep-deprived bodies out of bed after Saturday night at the Creator's Project, we headed to the Sunday of Lovebox, in East London's Victoria Park - known as "Gay Day" this year and surely forevermore as such a hit it was. We caught Holy Ghost!, Hercules & Love Affair (featuring a fab "Miss Kele" as he was known for the day), Peaches' live set complete with a broken leg in a cast which meant she was alternately hopping and being wheeled around by dancer Danny, a naked man with amazing breasts wearing only a few pieces of black tape and some very high heels. After meeting you all, playing a bit of tug o' war with some manly men in kilts and loving the Hot Chip-hosted Rizla garden and NYC Downlow stage, Grace Jones was queen of the night, of course. Our lady was on spectacular form. We won't spoil the end of her set for anyone that has yet to see her this summer.
