PlayLive, Sónar 2010

Of the 2 Many DJ’s session, we remember the final part (some people’s memories don’t stretch that far…) for its strenuous end, which left your legs in a pulp. But what was the early part like? Here’s an interesting testimonial: Stephen Dewaele introducing himself to the audience with a transistor radio, looking for sounds over the whole bandwidth, heating up the atmosphere with pieces of melodies of all-time hits. And then, when the booth is set up, a counterattack comes in the form of trance and rave (The Chemical Brothers’ "Hey Boy Hey Girl" and Human Resource’s "Dominator"), after which the hysteria and the party begins and, two hours later, leaves us with empty stomachs, ruined feet and the memory at an all-time low.
