I like every song Radiohead put out in the past few years, except maybe for a few passages on “ Hail To The Thief”, and these two new ones made my day yesterday morning. “ Identikit” features some percussion only Phil Selway can come up with, and, as usual, there are a few surprises, like the vocals at the start, which, to me, give the song a nice R&B feel. On the other hand, “ Cut A Hole”, even though it doesn't rock my world, is the kind of song the fans have been asking the band for for years. Classic Radiohead. No complaints here, they are boss.

Given that the tracks are recorded from the top gallery and with a sound quality that is no more than decent, they're almost impossible to judge. Though we would have to say, at first listen, “Identikit” didn't do anything for us, and “Cut a Hole”, in the wrist-slitting vein of “ Karma Police” or “ All I Need”, sounded like a discarded track by Portishead. Radiohead can disappoint, too, don't be afraid to say it!
