The Raveonettes Share Their New Album

The Danish duo are releasing “Observator” on Vice next Tuesday

Danish twosome The Raveonettes didn't take long to come up with the follow-up to the much discussed “Raven In The Grave”. The ideas came quickly, and they were recorded even faster. In fact, the duo only needed a week to record “Observator” at the Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles, with the help of reputed producer Richard Gottehrer. Before its release, this Tuesday on Vice, Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo decided to put the album up as an online stream. The first impression is that the mid-tempos dominating the tracklist of its predecessor have disappeared into the background somewhat. Let's see if this is more to their followers' liking.
