Listen To “Ultraísta”, The Self-titled Album By Nigel Godrich's New Project

The LP is out tomorrow on Temporary Residence

We've been waiting for the first full-length by Ultraísta, the new band of Nigel Godrich ( Radiohead's go-to man when recording in the studio), multi-instrumentalist Joey Waronker, and singer Laura Bettinson, for months. And after the first previews (“ Static Light and Bad Insect), the wait is finally over. Thanks to NPR (you can also check Spotify, if you prefer), you can now listen to the self-titled debut in its entirety. It's an amalgamation of synthetic and slippery pop, which could be something like a more poppy and feminine version of Thom Yorke's band. If you like what you hear, Temporary Residence is releasing it tomorrow.
