Listen To The New Album By A Place To Bury Strangers In Its Entirety

The New Yorkers release “Worship” on 26th June

Oliver Ackermann’s band, A Place To Bury Strangers, are counting down the days to the official release of their third full-length, “Worship”, once again on Dead Oceans. It follows the release, at the beginning of the year, of “ Onwards On The Wall EP. In order to get a clear idea of what you can find on the album, you can now stream it, courtesy of the label and 3voor12. The idea of a much more mellow noise-pop prevails (this time think of The Horrors before you think of some late 80s industrial rock band), but the surprises come in cuts like “ Dissolved” - with an atmospheric aura that owes a great deal to The Cure’s “Disintegration” – and “ And I’m Up”, which comes dangerously close to the indie rock with bright guitars played by bands like Beach Fossils. So let’s see how the album sits with us after we’ve heard it a few more times. Remember that the LP will be in the shops on 26th June.
