Today, the first album by London collective Breton, who rose to fame with their visual works and remixes for other artists, is coming out. As the previously-released advance tracks indicated, “Other People's Problems” is a peculiar collage that couples arty indie-rock with expansive electronica production techniques. A collection of songs dominated by noisy bass lines, epic melodies and string arrangements, but on which there's also room for wonky beats. All that, with a sound that, though experimental at heart, seems destined to reach a broad audience. Let's see if they manage to do so.
