As many of you already know, “Luxury Problems”, Andy Stott’s new album, can already be found in the shops via Modern Love. You’ve also probably heard good things about it, here at PlayGround. Now, coinciding with its release, NPR is letting you listen to the album from beginning to end, so that you can really get into the Manchester musician’s new sound universe before you decide whether to buy it or not. Because there are new things and surprises, as it is the first time that he has decided to make voice recordings specifically for five of the eight cuts. They are by Alison Skidmore, his old piano teacher.
