The Fresh & Onlys are on their way; it seems that they enjoy both recording songs and touring through a thousand and one cities. This is how they’ve made four albums in four years. For 2012 we have “Long Slow Dance”, which promises to be the most focused work in their short but rich career. It’s not the first time that they have worked in a professional recording studio, but this time that they have spent more time there than ever, which means more polished songs, without that scratchy, discordant imperfection that characterised their previous productions. All of this was already evident in the advance single that they shared just a few days ago, “ Presence Of Mind”, and it is confirmed by listening to the stream of the whole album, courtesy of The Hype Machine. Expect a highly varied work, ranging from new wave to punk, including indie rock and even country-folk. It goes on sale on 4th September.
