Although the five songs on “End Of Daze” were initially going to be released as B-sides of singles, Dum Dum Girls were right in considering them to be powerful enough to deserve their own release. We have reached this conclusion, that it was a good idea, from listening repeatedly to the EP, available via a stream courtesy of Sub Pop. The songs are a supplement to “ Only In Dreams” (Sub Pop, 2011), as they were recorded in the same sessions and with the same producer, Sune Rose Wagner, half of The Raveonettes. 18 minutes that give us time to hear the Dum Dum Girls being more fragile (“ Lord Knows”) and tougher (“ Season In Hell”). The EP goes on sale on 25th September.
