Since the release of “Galactic Melt” (Ghostly, 2011), we have hardly heard anything from Com Truise, apart from the “ Fairlight EP ”. However, Ghostly has just announced they're preparing “In Decay”, a collection of 13 unreleased tracks and rarities that had only been out as demos. All of the productions are from before Seth Haley released anything officially, which makes it sort of a road map of how the New Jersey producer came to his present sound.
In general, the sound is mainly eighties-like, with shiny synths, elastic bass lines and cosmic influences, though there's also room for some 8-bit experimentation, like “ Stop”.
The record will be out on 17th July, digitally only. Listen to extracts of the tracks here.
