With the bewitching “ Passed Me By” and “We Stay Together”, Andy Stott took his sound towards the most swampy bits of house and techno, landscapes dominated by lethargic swings and stormy atmospheres, which became one of last year's crucial musical manifestations. The Manchester producer has just announced the arrival of “Luxury Problems”, his new full-length. An album that will keep exploring the same vein, but with a few important nuances, like for example a bigger role for the vocals. Because five of the eight tracks feature the voice of Alison Skidmore, which makes this the first time Stott uses specifically recorded vocals for his music. The release date is set for 29th October, on Modern Love. By lack of preview audio, here we leave you with the album's tracklist and artwork.
