It’s not the first time their paths have crossed, and it might not be the last. Barely a couple of months after the release of “Imikuzushi” (Black Truffle, 2012), his third album with Jim O'Rourke, Japanese Keiji Haino and Australian Oren Ambarchi have collaborated again, this time with Stephen O’Malley from Sun O))) completing the trio. Chris Fullard recorded the resounding improvisation that they offered together last November in Paris’ Gâité Lyrique. That material, later edited by Ambarchi, is what makes up “Nazoranai”, an album that will be out on 3rd July on Ideological Organ, the label associated with Editions Mego, run by O’Malley himself. So check out the titles of the four cuts, pure Haino.
Here we leave you with a fragment of their performance, so you can get an idea of what you will find on the album.
