Regis Digs Up Old Dubplates And Reissues His Second Album

“Death Said Head” and “Delivered Into The Hands Of Indifference” out now on Downwards

After the reissue of his debut album last year, Karl O'Connor, alias Regis, continues to dig through his archives to bring us a new compilation, and the reissue of “ Delivered Into The Hands Of Indifference”, his second LP. The compilation features several tracks from the “ Death Said Head" sessions, the opening track from the album “ Disintegration”, released in 2000, alongside Peter Sutton and Ian J. Richardson. Originally, the songs were pressed up as dubplates he used for his live sets. According to the press release, they “were used to layer over live electronics and are all interlocking pieces that were constructed to be played back to back.” The 7 tracks have been remastered and pressed on double LP, entitled “ Death Said Head”, which is out now.

The Briton has also just reissued “ Delivered Into The Hands Of Indifference”, his second full-length. Originally released in 1998, it was a capital record for the so-called “Birmingham sound”, focused on industrial hard techno. The reissue is limited to 200 copies and is available now on Downwards.
