Nocow and Hmot Share “Lost in Taiga”

Listen to an advance from their shared album for Origami Sound

Russian beatmakers Nocow and Hmot have joined forces to bring us the joint album “Lost In Taiga”. More than a collaborative exercise, it is a shared experience, born from both musical affinities and a close friendship (despite living 5,000 kilometres apart). The result is 19 cuts (10 by Nocow and 9 by Hmot) infested with misty, taciturn landscapes; a bet on nocturnal emotionalism that resounds with clear echoes of Burial. The album will be available for download (you name the price) from the 1st June, through Bucharest label Origami Sound. Here we leave you with an advance of the album, as well as the video clip accompanying “ You Better No One”, where shots of foggy motorways reveal themselves to be highly pertinent.
