New Helm Album On PAN

Listen to an advance track from “Impossible Symmetry”

In the wake of the acclaimed Cryptography” (Kye, 2011), young British experimental artist Luke Younger, alias Helm, returns with Impossible Symmetry”, his new full-length. The album was recorded over the course of a year in London, and - unlike his previous efforts - is mostly based on live improvisations. For this record, Younger has been working with a wide range of acoustic sound sources, which he later manipulated in the studio, cutting them up with several electronic digressions. The result is five industrial-influenced dark ambient pieces in the vein of artists like Coil, Cabaret Voltaire and Traversable Wormhole.

The release date is set for 29th May, on Berlin label PAN. Here we leave you with extracts of three of the tracks, the album tracklist and corresponding artwork.
