New Dusk + Blackdown Album Underway

“Dasaflex” out in September on Keysound

It's been four years since the release of “Margins Music” (Keysound Recordings, 2008), the collection of sonic visions of life in the margins of cosmopolitan London Dan Frampton (aka Dusk) and Martin Clark (aka Blackdown) outlined using uncomfortable grime and spicy and multi-ethnic dubstep, full of references to the sounds of Detroit, Bristol, Kingston, Mumbai, and Islamabad. Though that album was made with the idea of the project being little more than a one-off, Dusk + Blackdown have just announced a second full-length (their third, if we count “Margins Music: Redux”). The LP will be released on 17th September on Keysound Recordings, entitled “Dasaflex”. “High Road”, the supposed collaboration with Burial, will be included.
