Michael Jackson’s Wembley Stadium Concert To Be Released On DVD For “Bad Tour”

The DVD will form a part of “Bad 25”, the special pack commemorating the iconic album’s 25th anniversary

Michael Jackson’s fans are in luck. To celebrate the 25th birthday of the iconic album “Bad” (Epic, 1987), this summer Sony plans to release for the first time ever a DVD recording of the concert the deceased “King of Pop” gave on 16th July, 1988, in London’s Wembley Stadium. The release, besides the entire show, will also include previously unreleased studio sessions and the original album, with the sound totally re-mastered for the occasion. If there are no last-minute changes, fans can expect this special pack - christened as “Bad 25” - to be out this coming 18th September.

In turn, Pepsi plans to release one billion cans at the same time with the performer’s image on them in the United States and, as we told you a few weeks ago, an exclusive remix of “ Bad” by A-Trak, Diplo and Skrillex.

We leave you with the performer’s advertisement for the brand name in 1983, along with his brothers, one year before his hair caught fire on the set while filming another commercial for the famous drink. The incident - as he himself said while he was still alive - marked the beginning of his addiction to painkillers.
