Michael Mayer Announces A New Album, Eight Years After “Touch”

“Mantasy” will be out in October

Since 2007's “Save The World” by Supermayer, his project with Superpicther, Michael Mayer's output has been practically zero, save the odd remix. But now, the Kompakt boss is announcing “Mantasy”, his second solo full-length, and follow-up to 2004's “Touch”. However, Mayer says he sees this album as his true first LP. A record which, says the man from Cologne, “clearly reflects the gazillions of sounds I'm listening to in private, especially my love for soundtracks or soundtrack-like music. The album is expected on 22nd October, via Kompakt. Check the tracklist to the right of this article.
