Major Lazer Album Delayed Three Months

"Free The Universe" won't be out until 19th February, 2013

A change of plans for Major Lazer's second LP. The Jamaican-flavoured Diplo project initially planned to put out "Free The Universe" on 6th November, but Mad Decent (who are releasing it in collaboration with Downtown Records) has just announced that the release has been postponed to 19th February, 2013, for unspecified reasons. Here's hoping they'll make up for any inconvenience caused by giving us a single, or two.

We have already heard two singles from "Free The Universe", the jumpstyle anthem "Original Don", and the sweet "Get Free", with Dirty Projectors' Amber Coffman on vocals. Other names on the album will be Ezra Koenig ( Vampire Weekend), Jahdan Blakkamoore, Bruno Mars, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, Wynter Gordon, Tyga, and Flux Pavilion.
