Düsseldorf band Kreidler, fundamental in the evolution of German post-rock during the second half of the 90s, will release their eleventh album, “Den”, this autumn. The veteran band returns to Kraut-rock once again, but the sound is rather different from predecessor “Tank”. Judging from the short advance snippets, the effort will sound less un-polished than their previous LP, with a kind of crystalline viscosity from which Thomas Klein, Andreas Reihse, Detlef Weinrich and Alexander Paulick start their trademark experimental excursions.
The release date is set for 5th October, on Bureau B. Here we leave you with its tracklist and artwork, and extracts of four of the tracks.
