As we already told you here months ago, Domino is getting ready to bring out “Recollected”, a juicy box set containing Hood’s essential tracks in CD format. This box will reach the shops on February 21st, but the campaign to reclaim and celebrate Hood’s legacy won’t stop there: the London label has just announced that on the 20th of February, almost at the same time as the box set, it will release the giant “Cold House” (Domino, 2001), one of the British group’s key albums, on vinyl.
The re-release, which is to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the album’s release, will arrive in the form of a 180-gram double vinyl pressed at 45 RPM; that is to say, treated with excruciating care for the most demanding ears. This edition is limited to only 500 copies throughout the world, and it comes with exclusive notes only for this version, as well as codes to download it digitally. If you don’t want to miss it, avid collector, reserve your copy for 24 pounds following this link.
