Rinse Gathers Up Past, Present, And Future Grime On A Double CD-Mix

“I Love Grime” will be out in October

The recording company branch of Rinse FM has just announced the release of “I Love Grime”, a double CD-Mix that is a sort of “summary of the ever-expanding Grime scene”. Two albums mixed by Spyro and Sian Anderson, respectively, who have gathered up to 52 cuts that reflect the evolution of the style from its birth as the skinny, grim-faced brother of Garage to its current consolidation in the urban mainstream. As they explain from Rinse, being the catalyst for the London underground scene has allowed them to have access to the genre’s most significant cuts, bringing together legendary anthems and future classics. So among the selection we find names like Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Tinchy Stryder, Lethal B, Skepta, P Money, Roll Deep and So Solid Crew, all of them indispensable for understanding the evolution of the sound. The release of “I Love Grime” is slated for 1st October both on CD and in digital format. To the right of these lines we leave you with the whole succulent tracklist.
