A month before the release of “ Black Is Beautiful”, the first album by Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland for Hyperdub, the first advance tracks have surfaced. Judging from the three extracts, the album is going to be somewhat more fenced and stylistically diverse, from the out-of-focus pop of “ Untitled 2” to the dissonant digressions of “ Untitled 15” and the mentally unbalanced R&B of “ Untitled 10”. Moreover, samples seem to play a smaller part, in favour of synths, drum machines and Copeland's disintegrated vocals. The label has also given details about the release itself, which will be on red vinyl, in a cover with the already- known artwork on it and the word “Ebony” written all over it. The record is slated for release on 17th April, here we leave you with the three excerpts and a video teaser.
