After the digression of "Home Recordings" (Second Language, 2010), a collection of home-recorded versions of some of their most acclaimed early tracks, Piano Magic are releasing their eleventh studio album. Entitled “ Life Has Not Finished With Me Yet” , the LP will be out on 18th June via Second Language and Saint Marie. Glen Johnson's boys are going back to the translucent darkness and electronic garlands of works like “ Low Birth Weight” (Rocket Girl, 1999) and “ Artists Rifles” (Rocket Girl, 2000). The effort will be dominated by analogue synthesisers, grandiloquent reverberations and black-coloured baroque. Johnson and his gang have this time worked with a small chamber orchestra and with Josh Hight from Irons, who sings on “ Judas”.
We leave you with the album tracklist, artwork and a first advance track called “ The Slightest Of Threads”. Pre-order your copy of the record here.
