At the end of last week, Flying Lotus himself confirmed in an interview that his new album, “Until The Quiet Comes”, will be out on this coming 2nd October via Warp. Now we have more details about it. For example, that the album will include collaborations by Erykah Badu, Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead, Laura Darlington, Niki Randa and Thundercat, as well as the one by Thom Yorke that has already been announced. Flylo also describes the work as “a collage of mystical states, daydreams, dreams, and lullabies” . There are no sound advances yet, so we can only imagine.
