The New Daft Punk Album Won’t Be Out In June

A release denies Paul Williams’ information

On Friday we told you that Paul Williams had revealed in a recent chat at SXSW in Austin that Daft Punk’s new album, which has been refusing to arrive since 2005, “might be released in June”. Well, it seems that the renowned American composer was either mistaken or looking to get publicity for his documentary “Paul Williams: Still Alive”, because the recording team around the French duo has rushed to deny that there will be an album in June. Don’t let it get you down though: between what Williams and Nile Rodgers (Chic) have said, everything still suggests that the album will surface sooner or later.
