After nearly three years of silence, Englishman Tras casi tres años de silencio, el inglés Mark Stewart, alias Claro Intelecto, is back with a new LP. Entitled “Reform Club, ” it will be released by Delsin, making it the first album that the musician from Manchester has released outside of Modern Love since his first album, for Ai Records. In terms of sound, the album doesn’t stray very far from the Brit’s usual palette: “Reform Club” promises quiet, dreamy techno, with nebulous ambient and an unfathomable drive; in general, it plays with contrasts between textures, oscillating constantly between roughness and polish. Stewart also allows himself forays into lethargic tempos and the occasional ambient touch.
The album won’t be on the shelves until April 16th, but on Delsin ’s website, you can already hear fragments of all of the cuts. After the break, we’ll leave you “Second Blood,” the only track on the album that has already been released as a 12”.
