Now that it's almost one year after the legendary Conrad Schnitzler passed away, the Bureau B label is reissuing “ Rot” (1973) and “ Blau” (1974), his first two solo albums. Both releases will feature bonus material: in the case of “Rot”, a twenty-minute track, while “Blau” will include six previously unreleased compositions. Both volumes are completed with a collection of photos and liner notes by Asmus Tietchens. This way, the label hopes to keep the memory of Schnitzler - without a doubt one of the key figures in the history of German avant-garde and electronic music – alive. Schnitzler was a founder of the mythical Zodiak Free Arts Lab, a member of Tangerine Dream and Kluster and an accomplished solo artist.
Both reissues will be available on 18th May, via CD and digital.
