Public Information Records is a recently created London label which, according to the press release, will explore the depths of “electronics… noise… psych… industrial… house… dub… wyrd-pop… library… techno… art… design from the last seven decades…”. For its first release, the platform recruited ADR, the solo project by Aaron David Ross, half of dark-wavers Gatekeeper. The Tucson born New Yorker is presenting “Solitary Pursuits”, an eight-track mini-LP on which he shows his passion for cinematic synthetic symphonies. Combining influences from Detroit and cosmic travellers like Jean Michel-Jarre and Klaus Shulze, Ross delivers a record full of dark moods in the vein of the Giallo soundtracks made with synths and analogue modules in his studio in Brooklyn.
