The physical release of Toddla T’s second album has finally arrived. Yes: an actual, tangible object, complete with the feature length film ‘Always Moving’. To celebrate Toddla will be taking over the Drop Dead clothing store on Kingly Street between 1pm - 7:30pm today (Friday 26th October). T Weez will be DJing - alongside very special guests - and there will be signed and limited 'Watch Me Dance' items available for purchase. The event will be followed by the album launch at Corsica Studios, with some fellow cohorts from the record enlisted to help get the party started.
Expect the finest UK Garage and Leftfield House chosen by Coldcut head honcho Jon More, including Weez T, Zed Bias, Shola Ama , The 2 Bears (Ben 'Hot Chip' Goddard and Raf Daddy), Martelo and Terri Walker, and rising star PhOtOmachine. Furthermore residents Hesseltime, Mr Solid Gold, Park Ranger, Hylu & Jago and Oli DAB & Robin will be spinning their dance demanding beats. As if that wasn’t tempting enough, Corsica will also be hosting the return of the silent disco at the event. Tickets start at just £8; an unmissable way to kick off carnival.
