It’s been officially confirmed: the countdown that started a couple of weeks ago on a clock located on the upper right-hand side of The Streets’s website is closer to the end, that is, to the arrival of the next album—in theory the last one to be released under that alias—by the geezer Mike Skinner. Little is yet known about that album besides it’s title, “Computer And Blues”, and it’s official tracklist, which includes several tracks Skinner himself leaked last week through his Twitter account, among them “Trust Me”, a song we showcased in our Media section.
Over two years ago, Skinner started saying his 5th album as The Streets would be “dark and futuristic.” While waiting for more details and more reliable judgments, it must be said that definition contrasts with the song-by-song analysis based on the few first listening the NME has given “Computer And Blues”. The album will hit stores on 7th February, in exactly 83 days, 14 hours and several minutes… The Streets - “Computer and Blues”01. Outside Inside 02. Going Through Hell 03. Roof Of Your Car 04.
