There are some technical adjustments with regards to the first edition of Sónar São Paulo. The event, meant to be a stable Sónar leg on the American continent, was supposed to be celebrated between 16th and 18th March 2012. In the end, though, due to logistic reasons, the festival has been delayed until mid-spring of the same year. Advanced Music and its Brazilian partners (Dream Factory, responsible for big events like Rock in Rio) have decided to expand the infrastructure of the Parque Anhembi, the Events and Conventions Centre of the City of São Paulo, the site where the event is to take place. Which is why the first edition of Sónar São Paulo will be held on 11th, 12th and 13th May 2012. Sónar São Paulo is expected to draw about 50,000 people, maintaining the formula of three days and a Day and Night program, which works so well in Barcelona. Soon the first names of the line-up will be revealed.
