SonarPro, the part of Sónar where music, audiovisual art and new media professionals meet, is teaming up with the Music Technology Group of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra to organise the second Music Hack Day Barcelona. During the day, hackers will be accompanied by artists and will have 24 hours to construct the next generation of music applications for any kind of platform, whether it be web, mobile phones, software or hardware. There are no rules, except that the program has to link with music. The event will take place on 16th and 17th June at the CCCB Auditori and will include hacking sessions, API workshops, the final presentations of the results, an award ceremony for the best designs and even audience participation where attendees can ask hackers to make their ideas.
