Secretsundaze, an institution on the London club scene, will celebrate its first decade with a new double CD compilation. Founded by James Priestly and Giles Smith in 2001, the brand has become a household name for the parties after the parties. Celebrated during daytimes and in all kinds of places (often outside), over the past ten years they’ve had names like Âme, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Tobi Neumann, Trevor Jackson and Steve Bug amongst many others. To celebrate all this, they are now releasing a double CD selected and mixed by the two founders. On the first disc, we find Priestly, who made an eclectic selection featuring tracks by Space Dimension Controller, Recloose, Mark E, Steffi and many others. Smith’s set on the other hand explores much deeper sounds, with producers like Marshall Jefferson, Anthony Shakir, RNDM and Tornado Wallace. It’s the best way to feel the musical mood of their legendary parties, without going there of course.
