The organisation of San Miguel Primavera Sound has found a new use for their already interesting online TV station, Primavera TV. For the first time ever - and in collaboration with Dailymotion - the Barcelona festival will broadcast a series of full concerts during the three days, using Parc del Fòrum as its location. If you’re unable to be there in person - but don’t want to miss shows by the likes of Interpol, Of Montreal, M. Ward and PJ Harvey - you can tune in to Primavera TV via this link, or this one (the time schedule is to the right of this article).
As you’ll know, San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011 started yesterday at the Poble Espanyol. Today, the Primavera to the streets initiative offers you the possibility to start enjoying the music before you enter the Fòrum - thanks to the Red Bull Tour Bus. As its name indicates, it’s a bus that will drive through the centre of Barcelona, stopping at emblematic spots and working as a moving stage for several bands. Today - with stops at Carrer Almirall Cervera and Passeig Marítim de la Barcelona - the following bands will play: La Familia del Árbol (1:30 pm), Atleta (2:30 pm) and Evripidis and His Tragedies (3:30 pm). Tomorrow, at the Plaça de la Catedral, it’s up to Eric Fuentes & El Mal (1:30 pm), Fred I Son (2:30 pm) and Javiera Mena (3:30 pm). On Saturday, at the Plaça Universitat, the Red Bull Tour Bus will feature the concerts of Orbison Brothers (1:30 pm), Anímic (2:30 pm) and Male Bonding (3:30 pm).
