San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011 has just activated the San Miguel Primavera Sound Portal. The portal is a logistic hub that will allow for a series of online operations that before had to be done on the festival site itself. The innovation is translated in a kind of credit card that will allow for faster payment of drinks, food and other things. This year, payments can be made via the San Miguel Primavera Sound Portal, an online place to add credit to the cards the Organisation will give the attendees upon their entrance of the site, and which should be linked to our respective bank accounts. This way, anyone who registers will be able to avoid any tedious queues for drinks tokens.
Furthermore, once you’re inside the Fòrum, the cards can be charged in two ways: with our mobile phones (there will be free on site Wi-Fi) or via machines present across the festival site. It’s not obligatory to use this feature, but it is highly recommendable. Apart from that, as a significant novelty, from now on, the reserve tickets for the Rockdelux Stage can only be acquired via the portal. The sale hasn’t started yet, but you should watch that space, if you don’t want to miss out on Sufjan Stevens and Arto Lindsay, because it is expected the service will be operative in a matter of hours.
