Veterans Echo & The Bunnymen, legends of British post-punk pop, will be playing at San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011. They won’t exactly be focussing on the recent “The Fountain” (Ocean Rain, 2009), but instead are planning on recovering their first two albums, the very classic “Crocodiles” (Sire, 1980) and “Heaven Up Here” (Sire, 1981). Echo & The Bunnymen will play on Wednesday at the Poble Espanyol. The news has yet to be confirmed officially, but Gabi Ruiz, the festival director, already posted the news at the end of last year, furthermore stating that the entire line-up will probably be complete by the end of this month, four months from the start of the festival. More news very soon.
