As we recently revealed - the PlayTV cameras, in collaboration with San Miguel, want to bring a bit of the San Miguel Primavera Sound spirit to your home. Over the past weeks, our team has been following a number of Barcelona based bands - prior to their performances at the festival. In their own rehearsal rooms - without nerves or haste – some of our stars played us one of their songs, an appetiser for their show. After stumbling upon the hooky free-rock of the inimitable Za!, the second chapter of the series is from Mujeres - one of major talents of Spanish garage rock. PlayTV follows them to their place of work. A daubed freight elevator, bottles of San Miguel in their hands and a healthy dose of psychotic tinged, raw garage rock – they cross The Trashmen, The Cramps and Black Lips with an undeniably local flavour. Want more? You know what to do: Saturday at 6 pm on the Minimúsica stage of San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011. There will be more episodes of this series following the festival - so watch this space. For now, enjoy Mujeres following this link.
