After their soundtracks for “Tekkon Kinkreet” and “Heaven’s Door” (both films by Michael Arias), Plaid return with a new studio album, their first since “Spokes” - released no less than eight years ago. The new collection of electronic dreams by Andy Turner and Ed Handley will be called “Scintilli” and will be out on 25th September via Warp. Apart from the usual formats (double vinyl with or without T-shirt and digital download), there will be a special first pressing on CD - baptised “Muda Na Mono CD Pack”- featuring a display that holds the CD like two astral rings. You can pre-order the format of your choice here. As an appetiser we leave you with a first promotional video of “35 Summers”.
