A compilation

N.E.R.D.Spend a few minutes online and you’ll realize that the new long player by N*E*R*D*, “Nothing” (Star Trak/Interscope, 2010), is not arousing the same enthusiasm as most of their previous references. That’s perhaps the reason why the executives of their old record label, Virgin, have decided to compile the best moments in the trajectory of the trio made up by Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Sheldon “Shay” Haley around their common love for rap, funk and urban pop. The album, simply entitled “Best Of N.E.R.D.”, will hit stores on 11th January featuring tracks from between 2001 and 2005, a period that saw the release of N*E*R*D*’s first two albums, “In search Of...” (2002) and “Fly or Die” (2004), both put out by Virgin/EMI.
