Mark Broom

14 years later

Mark BroomLondoner Mark Broom, illustrious purveyor of British intelligent techno since the early 90s (as a DJ or by collaborating with The Black Dog, Baby Ford or Dave Hill, as a multi faceted producer on quality labels like General Productions, Mo Wax, Warp, R&S, Soma, Pure Plastic, Rewired, BPitch Control...), has announced his return to music after nearly a decade and half since the release of his last album “Angie Is A Shoplifter” (Pure Plastic, 1996). It will be available around August 2nd through Saved Records, Nic Fanciulli’s label. Under the not too enterprising title of “Acid House” , Broom has packed in 14 new tracks produced during last year at his Norfolk studios, “fluctuating through dark deep house and techno”, they say. While we wait for some audio evidence, here we offer you the blurry artwork from the record cover.
