James Blake

James BlakeThree EPs in eight months and they’re all brilliant. That’s the CV of young James Blake, cut loose from his friends Mount Kimbie and one of the great references of the new post-dubstep scene –you know, emo-dubstep and all that, or whatever you want to call it. And it’s all achieved on his own merits, unafraid to appeal to the most human emotions. In the wake of “CMYK” (R&S, 2010), the Belgian label has just revealed details of Blake’s new EP. On 27th September “Klavierwerke” will come out, a four-tracker that, judging from its title (“Piano Works”) could signal a change of direction, with more of a role for the piano and Blake’s own voice. With no audio for proof, we leave you with the EPs tracklist. James Blake - “Klavierwerke”01. Klavierwerke 02. Tell Her Safe 03. I Only Know (What I Know Now) 04. Don't You Think I Do
