A new label

Hoya: HoyaIt was only a matter of time. Under the auspices of Jonny Dub and Illum Sphere, the Hoya:Hoya nights have become a reference in their own right for the new and devoted British hybrid electronica scene (dubstep and post-dusbtep, wonky beats, future funk, UK bass, garage and funky properly mixed to the ecstasy of fans). In less than two years, the Manchester club has become a must for many of the main representatives of British bass continuum. It’s obvious, then, that as a natural extension of those nights, Dub and Illum Sphere have decided to turn it as well into a new label. The only condition to release on Hoya:Hoya is to perform at the club. The first reference of the label is a 12” shared by three of the club’s regulars: Krystal Klear, Lone and Illum Sphere himself fill both sides of “Hoya 001”, an EP you should be able to find in your favourite record store as of 1st November.

Var.- Hoya 001 A1. Illum Sphere – Sweat the Descent B1. Lone – Let the Music Play B2. Krystal Klear – Persuaded Me
