How To Dress Well hasn’t released anything new, apart from a remix for Matthew Dear and that R. Kelly cover version, since his debut album “Love Remains” (Lefse, 2010) came out last September. Now, a day before his performance at Sónar 2011, there’s news about a new release. On 12th July, Love Letters Ink will release the EP “Just Once”, a single featuring a new track, “Suicide Dream 3”, and orchestral versions of “Suicide Dream 1”, “Suicide Dream 2” and “Decisions”, three tracks off of Tom Krell’s first LP. The string arrangements are by Minna Choi. The single will be pressed on 10” vinyl in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, and will include a hand-written card by Tom Krell with a password that will give access to footage shot during the recording of “Suicide Dream 2”. Furthermore, Love Letters Ink has announced that for every 10” sold (at $14), one dollar will be given to MindFreedom.org, a charity organisation for people with mental health problems. “Just Once EP” is dedicated to Ryan Douglas Hutchon, a friend of Krell’s who passed away around the same time his debut album was released. If you wish to pre-order your copy, you can do so on the Yours Truly Bandcamp page. How To Dress Well will be appearing at Sónar 2011 on june 17 at 18:30 h at the SonarComplex stage. Tickets are on sale here.
