Frank Bretschneider has always been the most disco of the members of the Raster-Norton hardcore. In spite of being one of the originators of the label, Bretschneider has released more on other imprints (Mille Plateaux, 12k, Korn Plastics, Audio.nl and Underscan, among others) than on his own. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that after his two latest albums on Raster-Noton (the most recent of which, “EXP”, was released at the end of last spring), the German has chosen another label to release his newest work. This time it’s Shitkatapult, Marco ‘T. Raumschmiere’ Haas’ and Sascha ‘Apparat’ Ring’s imprint. On 4th February, the Berlin label will release “Komet” (also the name of his other personal project), a collection of seven tracks made and recorded live in the studio, that are a sample of the German’s particular vision of deep and atmospheric techno.
