Memoryhouse are, as they say, new arrivals. They’ve hardly released two single and a few digital EPs, yet their name is bounced around a lot, largely thanks to gems of evanescent pop like “Lately (Deuxième)”. You probably know that Memoryhouse are a duo, Evan Abeele and Denise Nouvion, with Evan also taking the role of manager of business brain. These days, Memoryhouse is Evan’s main worry, he says, but that’s not to say there aren’t other musical ideas floating around in his head, far from the foggy and delicate world of the duo. Part of that other material is now released on “Lineage EP”, a collection of six instrumental tracks that could have been part of “Choir of Empty Rooms” but didn’t end up on Memoryhouse’s latest EP. Now Evan has decided to release the songs under his own name. The EP has been available since yesterday on this Bandcamp page.
