Efterklang + Vincent Moon

Organise your own screening of “An Island”

It wasn’t very long ago that we told you about “An Island”, the collaboration between Efterklang and director Vincent Moon that’s resulted in “a film the same length as an album” and which still remains a small mystery. The film is as yet unreleased, but not for long – contrary to what many of us believed, the release won’t be at the end of February to coincide with the start of the new Efterklang tour. The makers’ intention is much more “popular”, in the best sense of the word.

From today, Efterklang & Vincent Moon are inviting you to organise a public screening of “An Island” in your own space –your house, club, bar, neighbourhood cinema or wherever you want.

The only conditions are:

•Entrance to the screening has to be free

•The screenings need to be open to the public

•The space needs to have a minimum capacity of 5 people

If you’re up for it, register to take part via this link. Efterklang and Vincent Moon themselves will go over your proposal before they send you the screener for projection, which should take place between 1st February and 31st March. If you don’t want to organise your own screening but do want to see the film, you can sign up here to keep up to date on where screenings will take place.{vimeo width="100%" height="270"}16564996{/vimeo}
