Yesterday we told you about the arrival in stores –only the digital ones– of “Good Day Today” and “I Know”, the unexpected double A-sided single by David Lynch, on Sunday Best. And today we’re back in the creative world of Lynch, because the master filmmaker has now convoked his own video contest. The director of “Eraserhead” (1977), “Blue Velvet” (1986) and “Mulholland Drive” (2001) wants you to make a video for his new songs. You have until the 20th December to write, shoot and edit your clip. From then, Lynch will be watching and judging all the submitted material. There will be ten finalists, two of them chosen by a public vote and eight chosen by Lynch and the Genero.tv team. The two best videos will win. Their makers, apart from getting worldwide exposure, will be awarded with the sweet sum of £2000. More details on Genero.tv.
