If you’re a follower of Cults, you’ll know their debut album is about to be released. A week from it’s launch (via Columbia), today NPR offers us the streaming of the songs the charming Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion will be playing live this Thursday at San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011. Apart from the advance tracks (we’re not going to go on again about the power of “Abducted”), we invite you to pay close attention to “Bad Things” and “Walk At Night”. Both drink from the well of the fifties and sixties pop the couple love so much. For now, listen. If you need a more exhaustive (and subjective) insight, wait for early next week, when we’ll publish the review of one of the most hyped debuts of the year.
Cults will be playing May 26 at ATP stage at 19:15 h. San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011 takes place on 25 and 29 May at Poble Español, and from 26 to 28 May at Parc del Forum in Barcelona. Tickets are on sale here.
